Joesph Fitzpatrick Deasy

If you have not heard by now, our baby boy, Joseph Fitzpatrick Deasy was born on Feb. 8. 2010. He was 8 lbs and 13 ounces and measured 21 inches long- not a small baby! Joey arrived 5 hours after my water broke. All I have to say about the delivery is 'thank goodness for epidurals!.' The whole process went really smooth. Kevin was able to have 2 weeks off of work and we have spent the time getting acquainted with Joey. He has become the joy of our family and we have so much fun with him. It's simply a miracle. Kevin and I can spend hours watching him sleep! Our friends and family have been amazing and have come around us and supported us with meals, moved furniture and have showered us with gifts. Becoming parents is such a gift that we do not take for granted. We thank God daily for this child. We hope this update finds you well. Be blessed, much love to you! - The Deasys

congrads kevin and prisilla on the birth of your new baby joey...
it is amazing and warm and loving and peaceful and just pure joy..
it is so hard for me to think of you kevin as a dad... to me you are the little kid that laughed and played and was silly and goofy with my kids... the kid who nearly killed eric by throwing him off the roof... ha
and that basketball bounced daily and you turned into a teenager with all that craziness and smellyness and food eating-ness and yes the fun-ness... it was fun being with all you boys and laughing with you too...
then you became a young man with deep convictions and have always had such a sweet heart!...
i look forward to seeing joey one of these days...
it was fun seeing your mom and brother in the pics looking so happy with the baby..
well now really the biggest adventure starts.. having a family is the best one ever!
even though i don't see you very often anymore kevin- always know you are in my heart...
congradulation again... and i love you.
